We will be dedicating this Lag B'Omer BBQ to to our beloved Youth Director, Rabbi Yossi and his family who we are sadly saying goodbye to.

Rabbi Yossi Goldberg was born in Haarlem, The Netherlands, attended various yeshivas in places as far-flung and exotic as Israel, Venice and New York, and received his Rabbinic Ordination (Semicha) in Pretoria, South Africa. We have been lucky enough to have had his skill working with kids and teenagers running the "Food for Thought" clubs in three Vancouver high schools and the successful Bar Mitzvah Club for the past 7 years. His charisma, warmth, vast sports knowledge and off beat sense of humour keep him dialed in to the hearts and minds of the younger generation and his absence will be deeply felt.
